ICYMI: The Fashion for the Cure event at Sycamore High School was a smashing success. Students, "celebrity" models and some very special guests got to strut their stuff on the runway, all for a good cause. The SHS student service group who sponsored the event raised more than $26,000 for The Dragonfly Foundation to aid children with cancer. Looking good!

WEDNESDAY

The Southwest Ohio Air Quality Agency provides a public service to help allergy sufferers understand what naturally occurring airborne pollutants might be causing running noses and watery eyes. Monday through Friday, beginning in late February, the Agency collects a 24-hour sample of pollen grains and mold spores. The results are posted after 10 a.m. on its website at detailing which specific trees or grasses are producing pollen and which specific molds are predominant. The Pollen and Mold Hotline also provides this information at (513) 946-7753. This service is a great way to monitor your seasonal allergies and minimize aggravation caused from allergies.
